01 — JA Gallery
Reshaping the
Future of Art
A hybrid contemporary gallery and cultural platform dedicated to presenting, collecting and promoting original Nigerian creativity.
Where contemporary Nigerian art meets collectible culture.
The craft
Every cloth is tied by hand, so no two ever match
Adire is a resist-dye tradition: cloth is folded, stitched or bound before it meets the dye, and the places the dye cannot reach become the pattern. We work that tradition on broderie anglaise and fine cotton, in indigo, emerald, ink and terracotta.
From that legacy JA Gallery expands outward — a contemporary gallery and cultural platform bringing together art, ceramics and collectible design, and supporting Nigerian artists through exhibitions, residencies, talks and educational programmes.
